Price Action: Momentum-Driven Rally Within 48-Hour Range
XRP climbed 22.8% over the past 24 hours to $1.41, well above its 48-hour low of $1.0045 but near the ceiling of its $1.4 peak. The token's 41.2% weekly gain marks its strongest performance since the 2024 election cycle, according to reporting from Decrypt. At a $88.6 billion market cap, XRP holds the number five rank globally.
The move is anchored in part to Ripple's announcement that it is backing an RLUSD credit fund developed by Clearpool and Cicada Partners—an institutional lending product using Ripple's stablecoin. However, onchain activation of the XRP Ledger features underpinning the product remains pending, leaving the near-term catalyst dependent on sentiment and broader market momentum rather than live functionality.
